It's Been A Long Month

These are the key decorations for June and July.



And below are pictures from Mother's Day gift knitting. I started the shawl for my mom the Friday before MD and finished it right before she and her husband showed up for dinner. Thank goodness Little Guy (who is now 12 and will now be known as Big Guy) wanted to do lots of flying which translates to lots of knitting time for me! Look at how little yarn I had leftover! I didn't even cut it that close with the pumpkin hat in October. The flower things are pins I picked up on clearance at JoAnn's. They can be used to "dress up" the shawl closing.






The card is a handmade one I made for my mom. It was based on the one which one of my daughters-in-law made for me! I shamelessly copied it.

The green knitting is a prayer shawl I did for a friend's mom who had just been diagnosed with colon cancer.
